[Product Development Case] SENSOFAR Corporation

Introducing a case where exterior parts of the high-end measuring device "S lynx" were manufactured using the casting method!

At Ark, we have supported the development of SENSOFAR for many years, handling various projects from the production of a single prototype part to small-scale production of final products. In this project, by participating from the early stages of development, we proposed and adopted a casting method for the small-scale production of several hundred units. We also made proposals for DFM (Design for Manufacturability) during the development process, assisting the company’s project to progress as smoothly and effectively as possible. [Customer Requirements] - Since SENSOFAR's products are high-value premium products, high-quality finishing of the appearance is the most important. - Due to the small production volume, we want to keep initial costs, such as molds, low. - We want to be flexible in responding to minor changes in specifications. - Additionally, we aim to meet appearance quality standards and achieve a zero-defect quality target. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
